The group stage of the Champions League ended on December 13. So it’s time to take stock. The offensive players stood out for scoring but not for dribbling.

And among the 10 best dribblers in the group stage we find two players from Paris Saint-Germain.

Indeed, despite Paris Saint-Germain’s difficulties in this first part of the Champions League, Kylian Mbappé and Ousmane Dembélé are among the most confusing players in this group stage.

The Parisian number 7 is in 2nd place in the ranking behind Khvicha Kvaratskhelia with a total of 44 successful dribbles.

Ousmane Dembélé is in 10th place with 25 successful dribbles. The two Frenchmen are key elements of the capital club and will be very important for the Rouge et Bleu in the round of 16 on February 14 and March 5 against Real Sociedad.

Effective dribbling but struggling to finish

Kylian Mbappé and Ousmane Dembélé are true to their reputation. The two Parisian attackers are among the players who find it easiest to destabilize their opponents on the pitch. Fast and technical, they are formidable in one-on-one situations.

However, despite technical flashes, the two men lacked efficiency in front of goal in this group stage. KM7 only found the net 3 times, including 2 goals from penalties.

For his part, Ousmane Dembélé did not find the target at all. Since his arrival in the French capital, the Parisian number 10 has only scored once and that was in the championship at the Parc des Princes against AS Monaco.
