Erik ten Hag has backed Manchester United’s forwards to end the Red Devils’ worst drought in 21 years.

Following the defeat against West Ham on Saturday, United have lost half of their 26 matches this season. In all competitions, the Red Devils have gone more than 380 minutes without scoring, after four consecutive matches without success. Ten Hag’s forwards have scored just four goals from open play in the Premier League this season, sparking widespread criticism.

I know (Marcus) Rashford can score a goal, (Rasmus) Hojlund can score a goal, Antony can score a goal, (Alejandro) Garnacho can score a goal, Bruno (Fernandes) can score a goal, Scott McTominay can score a goal aim. »

“We have the ability to score in our team, and also from set pieces, but at the moment we are not doing it. They have to stick together and believe in themselves that they can do it. »

For the first time since November 1992, Manchester United have failed to score in four consecutive matches in all competitions. In its last three trips to the Premier League, the club has conceded two defeats and a draw.
