The management of Manchester United has identified the player capable of relaunching it during the second part of the season.

Manchester United absolutely wants offensive reinforcement during the January transfer window and its sights have fallen on Joshua Zirkzee, the Dutch strategist from Bologna. The young center forward has been in great shape for a few weeks and all of Italy has fallen under his spell.

Zirkzee to make Hojlund forget in Manchester

Zirkzee has scored 10 times in 37 appearances for Bologna. A resounding debut in the transalpine elite while he was stuck with his former club Bayern.

According to Sport1, United are now considering approaching Bologna to try to complete a transfer. Bayern have a buyout option of 20 million euros and a 50% sale clause in the event of a departure from Bologna.

United will have to pay between €35 and €40 million to secure the services of this Dutch hopeful during this mid-season period. That would be 2e major investment by the Red Devils in a striker in the space of a year after the 80 million spent on Rasmus Hojlund. The Dane, who still has no goals scored in the Premier League, has proven to be a real flop.
