Manchester City prospects in Argentina

City could welcome this talented player as early as January. The Sky Blues were in competition with Chelsea for this 19-year-old striker but the Blues ended up withdrawing from the race according to what Fabrizio Romano reports. Liverpool were also interested in this player for a time.

Barco is a pure left-hander. He can play as a winger or as a midfielder. He is also renowned for being technical, even if he does not yet have any capes with the Albiceleste (2 capes with the Espoirs). The kind of profiles that Pep Guardiola, the Eastlands manager, loves.

Barco has an estimated market value of 13 million euros. His contract with the Buenos Aires club expires in December 2024. For its managers, this is the right time to sell it and receive transfer compensation on its sale.
