The XXL deal proposed by Napoli for Mohamed Simakan

Pillar of RB Leipzig since his arrival in Germany in 2021, Mohamed Simakan is today considered one of the most promising defenders of his generation. Able to play on the right as well as in central defense, the former Strasbourg player is at the doorstep of the French team and is the subject of much covetousness, particularly in England. Well in Leipzig where he forms an impressive tandem with Castelo Lukeba, Simakan, under contract until June 2027 with the RBL, is in no hurry to leave, especially as the 1/8 finals of the Champions League and a shock against Real Madrid is looming on the horizon.

Another club qualified for the 1/8th of the LdC very recently tried its luck to snatch the native of Marseille. According to our information, Napoli, which knows that the German club particularly appreciates Macedonian midfielder Eljif Elmas, has proposed an exchange to RB Leipzig. The idea was to recover Mohamed Simakan for a sum of money of around €30-35 million and the Macedonian international community.
