Inter Milan welcomed the Lecce club to Lombardy this Saturday evening on the lawn of the Giuseppe-Meazza stadium, during the 17th day of Serie A. While the Nerazzurri very quickly raised the tone, it was Yann Bisseck who opened the score well to reward Milanese domination (43rd). In the second act, Nicolo Barella allowed his team (78th) to lock in a precious success, while the Salentini finished with ten men after the exclusion of Lameck Banda (83rd). With this victory (2-0), Inter Milan secures and consolidates its first place, while Lecce remains in the soft underbelly in 12th place

In the other match played simultaneously, Cagliari went to Verona to face Hellas on the lawn of the Marc Antonio Bentegodi stadium. After a tough first period, the locals woke up and opened the scoring thanks to Cyril Ngonge (53rd) then doubled the lead at the end of the match with Milan Djuric (90th). With this victory (2-0), Marco Baroni’s players give themselves some breathing room by occupying a 16th position, moving a little away from the red zone where Cagliari is in 18th place.
