Beaten on Saturday on the pitch at West Ham, the Red Devils and their supporters plunged further into depression.

Useless scorer three days earlier in Liverpool, during the defeat of West Ham in Quarter-final of the League Cup (5-1), Jarrod Bowen did it again against Manchester United but with victory at the end. The Hammers striker, who scored the opener on Saturday (72nd), was followed six minutes later by Mohammed Kudus (2-0, 78th) in this meeting of the Premier League matchday 18.

The Red Devils are sinking a little deeper into the crisis by suffering an 8th defeat in London this season in the English Championship, the 13th in all competitions. The formation of Erik ten Hag, certainly handicapped by absences, points to the 8th place in the ranking, overtaken by West Ham (6th). A disastrous situation if we add the elimination of all European cups, the fault of a setback suffered on December 12 at home in the Champions League against Bayern Munich (0-1).
