AS Monaco could be active during this winter transfer window.
A stronghold of French football, AS Monaco regularly manages to play leading roles in Ligue 1. This 2023-24 season looks like a good vintage for the Principality club. Third in the standings behind Paris Saint-Germain and OGC Nice, Adi Hütter’s team has a chance to play for the rest of this campaign. And with this in mind, she would study all opportunities to strengthen herself.
Monaco targets a rising value
According to information from L’Équipe, the management of AS Monaco has ticked off a name for this winter transfer window: Lilian Brassier. At the age of 24, this left-handed central defender has established himself as an important element of the sensation team of this first part of the season, Stade Brestois.
The French daily thus indicates that AS Monaco have already gone on the offensive to secure the services of the young Breton. An offer worth 8 million euros would have been made to the Finistère club. Also followed in England, Brassier is under contract with Brest until 2025. His club would not be willing to sell him for compensation less than 10 million euros. Monaco will therefore have to revise its offer upwards to try to convince the Breton team.
