Manchester City won the Club World Cup this Friday evening, after their big victory in the final against Fluminense (4-0).
For the first time in its history, Manchester City won the Club World Cup. Opposed in the final to Fluminense, the Skyblues made short work of the Brazilians (4-0) this Friday in Saudi Arabia.
Deprived of Erling Haaland, Kevin De Bruyne or even Jérémy Doku, City started the game with a bang, opening the score after only 40 seconds of play thanks to Julian Alvarez. It is the fastest goal scored in the history of the competition.
Manchester City are off to a flying start in the Club World Cup final: the Cityzens open the scoring in less than a minute!

Pep Guardiola’s men then made the break quite quickly with a shot from Phil Foden blocked in his own net by Nino (29th), while the Auriverdes were just starting to gain confidence in this match. Foden (72nd) and Alvarez (88th), author of a double, concluded the English demonstration in the second half. Enough to end the year 2023 in style.
