If Kylian Mbappé celebrated his 25th birthday this Wednesday, it was Christmas before time for his younger brother, Ethan, who made his big debut with PSG during the victory against Metz.

It was a day of celebration this Wednesday for the Mbappé siblings. It was firstly the 25the Kylian Mbappé’s birthday. And since you are never better served than by yourself, the French world champion took advantage of the reception in Metz to offer himself a double and thus take even better care of his statistics in 2023. Also a way of respond to criticism arising from his poor match against Lille on Sunday.

But in the last minutes of the match, the former Monegasque had the spotlight stolen by his little brother, Ethan. Called up by Luis Enrique, the young midfielder indeed had his big baptism with PSG. Coming on in the final minutes of the match to replace Carlos Soler, he played his first match in Ligue 1 at just 16 years, 11 months and 22 days old. That’s barely younger than when his big brother played his first championship match with Monaco. He was then 16 years, 11 months and 13 days old.

For his big premiere, Ethan Mbappé received a princely welcome from the public at the Park. Acclaimed when he entered the pitch, he was also applauded for each of his touches of the ball, the Parisian number 38 not hiding and on the contrary making himself available. At the final whistle, the one who usually plays with the U19s was entitled to everyone’s congratulations and did not fail to be chastised by his big brother under the emotional gaze of the entire Mbappé clan.

“I’m proud to have been able to make my debut at the Parc des Princes. Thank you to the supporters for this wonderful welcome. HERE IS PARIS »he reacted on Instagram.
