While Olympique Lyonnais scored a third consecutive victory, two Rhone players were victims of burglary attempts.
Olympique Lyonnais finished the year well. After their victories against Toulouse (3-0) and Monaco (0-1), OL secured a third consecutive victory by dominating FC Nantes (1-0) thanks to a goal from Alexandre Lacazette, perfectly served by Rayan Cherki. Enough to allow Les Gones to escape the relegation zone, the Rhone club now standing at 15e place two steps ahead of Strasbourg, currently in the roadblock.
The smiles returned to Lyon’s faces at the end of the meeting. But two Pierre Sage players quickly became disillusioned: Nicolas Tagliafico and Maxence Caqueret were in fact victims of burglary attempts during the match. The Argentinian defender, started by Pierre Sage, left the field hastily, once informed that an intrusion had occurred at his home.
According to RMC, an individual would have entered the garden of the world champion but left without attempting to enter the home, where the family of the former Ajax player were present. But Nicolas Tagliafico was not the only player targeted. The same was true of Maxence Caqueret. The young Lyon midfielder was also the victim of an attempted burglary, the thief being put to flight by the sound of the alarm.
