Author of a double with Real Madrid’s Castilla last Saturday, Théo Zidane is not called up to the first team for the match against Alavés on Thursday, despite numerous absences.

Called up by Carlo Ancelotti for the Real Madrid first team during the Champions League match against Napoli (4-2), on November 29, then for the next match in La Liga against Granada, on December 2, without entering game, Théo Zidane has since left with Castilla.

The third son of “Zizou” does not appear in the Merengues group for the Liga match of the season against Alavés, Thursday evening (9:30 p.m.), despite those absent at the moment (especially in defense). David Alaba joined Éder Militao, Thibaut Courtois, Eduardo Camavinga and Vinicius in the infirmary, while Aurélien Tchouaméni returned to competition last Sunday in the victory against Villarreal (4-1).

Théo, a 1m96 central midfielder, scored a double with the Madrid reserve in the Spanish D3 against CF Intercity, a team from Alicante, on Saturday at the Alfredo Di Stéfano Stadium. At 21, the French U20 international is linked to Casa Blanca until next June and has not been rewarded with a contract to play in the first team.
