PSG announces an extension! (OFFICIAL)

Paris Saint-Germain announced this Wednesday evening the extension of a historic player in its squad.

It is a mark of confidence which says a lot about the mark he left at Paris Saint-Germain: Presnel Kimpembe has signed a new contract with his training club. Currently in the infirmary, the world champion, whose physical state is very worrying, has signed a new lease until 2026.

“Paris Saint-Germain is pleased to announce the extension of Presnel Kimpembe’s contract. The 28-year-old central defender is now linked to the Club until June 30, 2026, can we read in an official press release published by PSG.

“At 28 years old, the left-handed central defender has participated in 237 matches in all competitions with his training club and won 23 trophies: 7 French Championships (2015, 2016, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2022 and 2023), 6 French Cups. France (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2020 and 2021), 5 Coupes de la Ligue (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2020) and 5 Champions Trophies (2014, 2016, 2017, 2020 and 2022),” continues PSG, before taking stock of the defender’s injury0

“Keep away from the field following an Achilles tendon injury, the defender should undergo surgical correction in the coming days, in order to return to competition as quickly as possible.”

“I am very happy to continue my story with my favorite club. I thank Paris Saint-Germain, its President and its supporters for the renewed confidence. I hope to wear these colors again as soon as possible”, reacted Presnel Kimpembe.
