League Cup: Liverpool crushes West Ham

Liverpool qualified for the semi-finals of the League Cup, beating West Ham (5-1) at Anfield.

Liverpool made short work of West Ham (5-1) this Wednesday evening in the quarter-finals of the League Cup. The Reds crushed the Hammers with a superb strike from Dominik Szoboszlai (28th), a double from Curtis Jones (56th, 84th), and goals from Cody Gakpo (71st) and Mohamed Salah (82nd). Jarrod Bowen had reduced the gap for the Londoners (77th), in vain.

Liverpool joins Chelsea, Fulham and Middlesbrough (D2) in the last four.
