Tested positive for the doping substance DHEA after the match against Udinese at the very start of the season, French midfielder Paul Pogba (30 years old) is still awaiting official sanction. According to several Italian media, the meeting was first set for January 18, 2024. But according to the latest indiscretions of the Gazzetta dello Sportthe 2018 world champion will benefit from additional time before being judged.

Indeed, at the end of the investigations, the prosecutor’s request for disqualification took the form of a four-year period. But while waiting for counterattacks from the 30-year-old’s defense, the lawyers requested a postponement of the trial date. Request accepted, since the hearing before the National Anti-Doping Court will not take place before February 15. If the sanction is maintained, Pogba could well terminate his contract with Juventus.
