Lionel Messi’s wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, posted a series of photos to mark the first anniversary of Argentina’s victory at the 2022 World Cup.
Her husband largely contributed to this triumph in Qatar. Messi’s exploits allowed him to win the trophy he coveted the most. Since then, he has won an eighth Ballon d’Or and is on the final shortlist for FIFA’s Best Player of 2023.
Messi’s family was there to witness the conquest of the greatest trophy in world football. Antonela sent a “Happy 18/12” message to her fellow Argentines on social media. She also shared a number of images, including one of the most famous left boot on the planet.
Messi has not yet confirmed that he will extend his international career until the 2026 World Cup. He does, however, have an extension option in his contract with Inter Miami (MLS) to cover this calendar year and has hinted that he might be tempted to participate in the defense of a world title.
