Winner of its Champions League group, Antoine Griezmann’s Atlético de Madrid inherited one of the worst possible draws by falling to Inter Milan.

Since PSG inherited Real Sociedad, there will be no huge display in the round of 16 of the Champions League, although purists will be able to appreciate the duel between Napoli and FC Barcelona, two of the former clubs by Diego Maradona.

The toughest duel, undoubtedly, will pit Atlético de Madrid against Inter Milan. Antoine Griezmann and the Colchoneros had nevertheless managed to come out at the top of their group, notably ahead of Lazio and Feyenoord, but they were not spoiled by this draw by inheriting the current leader of Serie A, and finalist from the previous edition of the Champions League. Inter was quite simply the second group most to fear, according to the Euro Club Index site, and it is Atlético who will stick to it, for a clash which promises to be defensive, between the team of Diego Simeone and one of the clubs where he played as a player.

In other matches, we will also note the meeting between Lazio and Bayern, as well as a nice Porto-Arsenal. Manchester City is doing quite well against Copenhagen, while Real Madrid will challenge Leipzig. The round of 16 will take place on February 13, 14, 20 and 21 for the first legs and March 5, 6, 12 and 13 for the return legs.
