Loaned by Tottenham to Manchester United, the Spanish defender has a clause in his contract which could allow him to take charge of Germany if he wishes, this winter. The former Real Madrid player has only played 405 minutes in the Premier League, and replaces Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia, who have been injured for many months.
