Théo Zidane, the son of “Zizou” who currently plays in the Real Madrid reserve team, scored a double on Saturday with Castilla. To soon be rewarded with a contract with the Merengues?

At 21, Théo Zidane is behind the times. Zinédine’s third son (after Enzo and Luca) is playing for the third season in a row in the Real Madrid reserve team and, if he was recently brought in by Carlo Ancelotti to complete the group in the Champions League due to numerous absentees, he was not rewarded with a first team contract at Casa Blanca. And he is at the end of his contract with Castilla next June…

Théo, however, is the talk of the town this weekend because he scored a double during the Spanish D3 match against CF Intercity, a team from Alicante, on Saturday at the Alfredo Di Stéfano Stadium. The 1.96m central midfielder notably scored a headed goal, while his only goal with Castilla dates back to September 17, 2022. He also confirms a certain rise in power this season, showing great activity in the field for several months.

While waiting to know if Théo Zidane will be promoted to Real Madrid to achieve a career at (very) high level (he can also leave Real Madrid to join a La Liga or Liga 2 club), Elyaz Zidane, the last son of the Ball d’Or 98, plays for the U19s of Casa Blanca. His arrival at Castilla is coming soon.
