Ronaldinho moved to tears by Andy Murray

Brazilian football legend Ronaldinho has responded to Andy Murray after the tennis star revealed he was his favorite player growing up.

Ronaldinho, 43, responded to Murray on his personal X account, after the tennis star shared a video of the former AC Milan and FC Barcelona legend’s best moments during his 17-year career . “ Thank you, Sir Andy Murray“.

Murray also spoke on his own X account to say: “ My favorite athlete as a child. When I moved to Barcelona to train at 15, I had the chance to see him live several times. An absolute genius. Always smiling. I arrived at the stadium early to watch him warm up, because he was doing incredible tricks like in the video”.

Although he has devoted much of his life to tennis, Murray is a huge football fan and closely follows Arsenal and Hibernian, his grandfather Roy Erskine having played for the latter in the 1950s.
