OM, Mbemba loves this team

The central defender of OM revealed some confidences, on the eve of the reception of Clermont Foot.

Chancel Mbemba played three clubs in Europe before arriving at OM in the summer of 2022. The central defender from DR Congo (69 caps) wore the jerseys of FC Porto (2018-2022), Newcastle (2015-2018 ) and Anderlecht (2011-2015). The latter holds a special place for the 29-year-old.

“ Anderlecht, the Mauves, are family. I watch all the matches”confided Chancel Mbemba, Saturday at a press conference, quoted by The Phocaeanon the eve of OM-Clermont (16th day of Ligue 1).

Mbemba, captain Thursday evening at Brighton in the Europa League (1-0), mentioned the famous Belgian club because he was questioned about the right side Amir Murillo. His Panamanian teammate at OM also played for Anderlecht before joining the Olympians (January 2020-August 2023).
