Angers takes the lead, Laval stalls

Temporarily dethroned by Auxerre, earlier scorer of Ajaccio (2-0), Angers regained their possession this Saturday evening.

In this 18^e lifting the championship, the SCO dominated Troyes in Aube with a score of 1-4, thus regaining two steps ahead of the AJA.

Laval, on the other hand, drops slightly, third now after its draw in front of Pau (1-1) – Grenoble stealing fourth place from the same Palois thanks to a success over Annecy (1-0).

At the bottom of the table, Valenciennes and Dunkirk sink further, beaten respectively by Paris FC (0-1) and Caen (1-0). Quevilly-Rouen and Bordeaux remain in the red after their draw today in Bastia (0-0) and in front of Saint-Etienne (0-0).
