Announced for several months on PSG’s shelves, Victor Osimhen is in the process of extending his contract to Napoli, with an XXL release clause at stake.

Ousmane Dembélé, Randal Kolo Muani, Gonçalo Ramos or Bradley Barcola: PSG spared no expense last summer to strengthen its attack. In total, PSG put more than 250 million euros on the table to make people forget about Neymar and Lionel Messi, who were pushed out. But the capital club does not want to stop there. Consequence in particular of the uncertainty which weighs over the future of Kylian Mbappé, at the end of his contract next June.

Already courted last summer in the same way as Harry Kane, Victor Osimhen is still among the players targeted by Luis Campos. And the French champions now know what to expect. Two months after being very close to breaking up with Napoli, the result of a mocking post on social networks, the former Lille player is in fact in the process of extending his contract with the Italian champions.

But according to the Italian press, if the Nigerian international should commit until June 2026, with a nice salary increase at stake, a departure next summer remains relevant. On condition that his courtiers pay the price. According to Fabizio Romano, Victor Osimhen’s new contract should indeed include a release clause worth around 130 million euros. If it wishes to recruit the Neapolitan, PSG will not have to spare. But it will be necessary at least that if Kylian Mbappé leaves.
