The Paris Saint-Germain endowment fund continues its major social policy. After the development of sport among young girls from disadvantaged neighborhoods or the fight against student insecurity and violence against women, the capital’s club joins the global initiative for the eradication of poliomyelitis, a disease eradicated in more than 99%, but the wild virus is still spreading. To do this, PSG organized an EA Sports FC 24 tournament on Tuesday, December 5 in the company of several content creators and renowned footballers. Bill Gates, Co-President of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, joined the cause alongside the President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron, via a video broadcast during the event.

He captivated and mobilized the younger generation, encouraging them to come together to put an end to @P0L__10 and continue the fight to make polio a thing of the past.we can read in the club press release. “Video games are important, but not as important as the lives of children around the world. This is our chance to really make a difference for our generation.”, for his part, declared Arsène Froon, YouTuber and host of PSG. A new event which proves Paris Saint-Germain’s constant desire to use its notoriety in the world of sport to disseminate its values and deploy socio-educational programs throughout the Paris region.
