With Girona part of the City Football Group network, Michel has been cited as a possible replacement for Guardiola. The fact that he makes his Catalan training shine in La Liga makes him the natural successor of the Catalan technician. But, these noises are not verified. And the person concerned has just assured that he was not eyeing his compatriot’s position.
Guardiola can sleep soundly
Michel spoke at length in an interview with the daily Marca. He assured that he was fully focused on his work in Girona and was not thinking about anything else. “I don’t know… It’s crazy to think that now, I like to live a lot from day to day. What I believe is that at the moment we are living a very beautiful moment in Girona, we are making history. I listen to everything. For good and bad, I am very self-critical.”
