In difficulty at Aston Villa, French defender Clément Lenglet should join another renowned European team.

After Ligue 1 and the Premier League, Clément Lenglet could well set off to discover another major championship next January. His name is circulating around AC Milan.

Lenglet soon in Italy?

If we are to believe journalist Ekrem Konur, the former Nancy player is indeed in the crosshairs of the Rossonerri. The latter are thinking of him as reinforcement in the back if they ever fail to sign Jakub Kiwior. The Arsenal Pole embodies their priority in this position.

If they want to recover the French international (15 caps), the Milanese must come to an agreement with two clubs at the same time. They must persuade Aston Villa to break the player’s one-year loan and then seek a deal with FC Barcelona. Lenglet is still under contract there until 2026.

If he joins AC Milan, Lenglet will be able to play in the Europa League during the 2e part of the season. He has the right to do so given that he has not been involved in any continental competition with the Villans during the current campaign.
