Juventus led before being caught on Friday evening, at Genoa (1-1, 16th day of Serie A). The Old Lady remains one point behind the leader, Inter Milan.
Not a very good operation for Juventus. Friday evening, the partners of Adrien Rabiot, absent due to injury, nevertheless traveled to a club in the second half of the table, with the intention of taking advantage of it to grab a few points. In the end, the people of Turin only had one to put in their bag (1-1).
However, things started well for the visitors since, thanks to a penalty converted by Federico Chiesa shortly before the half-hour mark, they took the advantage over their hosts (0-1, 28th). But a poorly negotiated start to the second half cost them the victory.
Inter can take advantage
On a good serve from Caleb Ekuban, Albert Gudmundsson was quick to score the equalizing goal (1-1, 48th). The debates then favored Juventus, but no more goals were scored until the final whistle. In the standings, Juventus returns to one point behind Inter Milan, still leader, but the latter could regain the lead in the event of a good result on Sunday at Lazio. As for Genoa, it is very provisionally fourteenth.
