Karim Benzema’s club Al-Ittihad would like to recruit David Alaba during the 2024 winter transfer window.

After the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo in December 2022 at Al Nassr, the Saudi Arabian championship changed dimension during the 2023 summer transfer window. Like the Portuguese, many stars left Europe and joined the Saudi Pro League with golden contracts and the ambition to develop a championship still unknown to the general public a few months ago.

Al-Ittihad targets Alaba

During this transfer window, Al-Ittihad had hit the jackpot by recruiting the outgoing Ballon d’Or Karim Benzemawho therefore left the real Madrid after 14 seasons. With the winter transfer window fast approaching, Benzema could see one of his former teammates join him. It is David Alaba (31 years). If we are to believe the information from Relevo, the Jeddah club could once again try to afford the services of the Austrian international. But the former Bayern Munich player seems to be feeling good in the Spanish capital and reportedly has no plans to leave just yet. It remains to be seen whether the 20 million euros per year proposed will be able to change his mind.
