Manchester United coach Erik Ten Hag harbors regrets after Tuesday’s defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
Manchester United were eliminated from the Champions League after their defeat against Bayern Munich (0-1) on Tuesday. The Red Devils finished in 4th place in their group, behind Bayern Munich, Copenhagen and Galatasaray.
Manager Erik ten Hag regretted the defeat, which he considered undeserved. “We had good performances, but with mistakes. Individual errors. In the end, it’s not enough. In this match, I think the performance was very good and we did not deserve to lose, but we lost,” he judged.
The Dutch technician also stressed the importance of focusing on the Premier League, where Manchester United are currently 6th. “We played good football in the Champions League. We have to do it in the Premier League too. Because we want to return to C1,” he added.
