UEFA fined RC Lens due to the actions of its supporters during the heavy defeat at Arsenal (6-0).
RC Lens fined. Due to several incidents involving its supporters at the Emirates Stadium, where the Sang et Or fell heavily (6-0), UEFA imposed a fine of 30,000 euros on the northern club.
The European football body accuses RC Lens of damage, throwing projectiles and the use of smoke bombs. The French vice-champions are therefore asked to contact their Arsenal counterparts within 30 days to settle the bill for the damage observed in the stadium, including 50 broken seats.
Despite a good run in the Champions League, RC Lens was transferred to the Europa League after its victory against Sevilla (2-1), this Tuesday evening at Bollaert.
