Paris Saint-Germain has a meeting with its European destiny. Traveling to Signal Iduna Park to challenge Borussia Dortmund on the final day of the group stage, the reigning French champion has no room for error. Currently relegated to second place (7 points) three lengths behind its opponent of the day (10 points) and two points ahead of its pursuers (5 points), PSG has the opportunity to validate its ticket for the 8th of Champions League final in the event of victory against BvB.

In addition to the prospect of qualifying, the Parisians would also be assured of finishing in first place in Group F. In the event of a draw against the Marsupiaux, Luis Enrique’s men would continue the adventure in C1 if Milan were to play a bad turn at Newcastle or to grab the draw point. Even if the Lombard club succeeds, the capital club would be ahead of its transalpine counterpart on goal difference (3-1 first leg victory, 1-2 return defeat). If they lose in Germany, the Ile-de-France residents will have to count on a draw between the English and the Italians to avoid further disillusionment. In this case, PSG would be transferred to the Europa League.
