A former PSG midfielder at Barça?

FC Barcelona would be on the trail of Argentinian midfielder from Tottenham Giovani Lo Celso.

At 27, after contrasting seasons at Tottenham (he was loaned twice to Villarreal), Giovani Lo Celso could change direction and return to La Liga. According to 90minFC Barcelona would have checked the name of the central midfielder who passed through PSG (2016-2018).

Xavi’s Blaugrana could add a new quality element to strengthen the midfield led by Frenkie De Jong, Pedri and Ilkay Gündogan. Gavi is in fact unavailable for the rest of the season due to a serious knee injury.

The Argentinian international (winner of the 2021 Copa America, he was not part of the group of 2022 world champions in Qatar) made a few starts with Spurs alongside Rodrigo Bentancur and Yves Bissouma, but he was overtaken by Pape Matar Sarr during the last Premier League match (home defeat against Aston Villa, 1-2).
