The players of US Revel (Haute-Garonne) received their Christmas present early by inheriting PSG in the 32nd final of the Coupe de France.
Like all the fans still present at the 32nd finals meeting, the Revel players had only one dream at the time of the draw for the 32nd finals of the Coupe de France: to inherit a top of Ligue 1, and preferably PSG and its stars.
The dream has come true for the residents of Regional 1 (the sixth division) who will face the French champions the first weekend of January. Enough to cause scenes of jubilation in the clubhouse when the draw was announced.

“We’ve been dreaming since Saturday (and the qualification against Blagnac). Don’t wake us! We take PSG, it’s fabulous. Our worry was taking Dieppe. This would have taken us across the whole of France. We have 9,000 inhabitants, 400 licensees. We have two well-known coaches from our area, Laurent Labit and Christophe Pelissier. We hadn’t imagined a meeting like that. It’s happiness,” reacted the president of the club, Didier Roques, to L’Equipe.
