Already eliminated from the Champions League, RC Lens beat Sevilla (2-1) on Tuesday evening at Bollaert to “qualify” for the Europa League play-offs.

RC Lens will thrill its audience in the European Cup next winter! Already eliminated from the race for the Champions League, Franck Haise’s team hosted Sevilla, last in the group, on Tuesday evening, in a melting Stade Bollaert. The Sang et Or validated their third qualifying place for the Europa League play-offs (first leg on February 15 at home against a runner-up in the Europa League).

In the other meeting (without stakes) of the group, Arsenal, already assured of finishing first, resisted PSV (1-1). Eddie Nketiah opened the scoring for the Guners (42nd), but Yorbe Vertessen equalized for the Eindhoven team. William Saliba started and came off on the hour mark.
