AS Saint-Etienne made the arrival of its new coach official this Tuesday.

As expected, Olivier Dall’Oglio was officially named coach of AS Saint-Etienne this Tuesday. The former coach of Montpellier and Brest replaces Laurent Battles, ousted after the Greens’ fifth defeat in a row in Ligue 2. He signed a six-month contract, plus an optional additional year.

“It’s a new challenge in a legendary club. We’ll have to go quickly, but I’m really confident. I will convey my determination to the whole group. You will have to be rigorous, vigilant, and have the necessary concentration. It is on these aspects that I will focus initially”confided Olivier Dall’Oglio for the official ASSE website.

As a reminder, the Stéphanois are currently 8th in Ligue 2, 8 points behind the podium after 17 days.
