After his great performance with Liverpool, Mohamed Salah was treated to a pleasant surprise.

Liverpool legend Ian Rush has praised Mohamed Salah after he scored his 200th goal in the red shirt. The Egyptian reached this total in the victory against Crystal Palace. The Welshman, whose personal brand still seems inaccessible (336 bits), could only bow, while his own brand is increasingly threatened.

“Salah has become a complete player”

“It’s a great achievement in itself to reach 200 goals,” Rush told Liverpoolfc.com. “There aren’t many who make it, so first of all, congratulations! He is not only a quality footballer but also a fantastic role model for people in different parts of the world. In Egypt he is a god and he gave the boys and girls of this country the belief that they can become professional footballers. That’s the kind of person he is.”

Then asked about what Salah could still improve in his game, Rush indicated: “ As a player, he can hardly do more. I watch him today and his game is a thousand times better than when he arrived. When he arrived, he was scoring goals for fun. Today, he scores goals for fun and scores goals for fun! His assists are as important as his goals, which shows what a complete player he has become.”

Salah will be present this Monday evening in Marrakech for the annual CAF trophy ceremony. He could be named best player on his continent for the 3e times in his career. Achraf Hakimi and Victor Osimhen are his competitors.
