Ibrahimovic, imminent return!

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, AC Milan legend, will make his return to the Lombard club.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic retired from football last July, after helping AC Milan win their first Italian league title since 2011 in 2021-22. But the Swedish giant is not ready to leave the Lombard club permanently. He will indeed join the board of directors of Rossoneriaccording to journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Ibrahimovic’s mission will be to collaborate with RedBird and his boss Gerry Cardinale, the club’s owner, to whom he will bring his experience and expertise. The duration of his mission has not yet been revealed, but it could extend over several years.

The return of the Malmö native to AC Milan is good news for the club. The former striker is a symbol within the Milan team and there is no doubt that he should bring great added value to the board of directors.
