The French women’s team will face Germany in the semi-final of the Nations League next February.
It will be Germany for the Blues! The French women’s team now knows its opponent in the semi-final of the League of Nations, the Final Four of which will take place from February 23 to 24. It will therefore be Germany, the reigning European vice-champion. A team that the Blues have not faced since the semi-final of Euro 2022, where a double from Alexandra Popp signaled the end of the dream of Wendie Renard and her teammates.

Hervé Renard’s players would like to win their first major international trophy with this Nations League, of which this is the first edition. Les Bleues had a flawless group stage, with five wins and 1 draw, against Austria, Norway and Portugal.
In this Nations League, the other semi-final of which will pit the Spanish world champions against the Netherlands, there will be two tickets for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. This does not concern the French team, which is automatically qualified as the host country of these Olympic Games.
