A shock planned for the Blues!

The first preparation match of the France team for Euro 2024 has been announced. The Blues will face Germany (again) in Lyon in March.

This is the first information concerning the preparation of the France team for Euro 2024. Not concerned by the play-offs which will take place in March, the Blues will play two friendly matches. And the first will therefore take place against Germany, in Lyon. Since the Stade de France is preserved for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, it is the Groupama Stadium which will welcome Didier Deschamps and his men.

This will be the 34th clash between France and Germany, and the results are currently favorable to the Blues, with 15 victories, 8 draws and 10 defeats. The last confrontation is very recent, since it dates back to last September, with a French defeat in Dortmund (2-1), already in a friendly. It was at a period when the objective of the France team was above all to negotiate the qualifications for Euro 2024 well, which is achieved.

To prepare for the big event next summer, the Blues will begin their preparation with a shock against a team, Germany, which will be one of the favorites in the competition it is organizing. The France team will play a second friendly match in March, then certainly two others before the final phase of the Euro (June 14-July 14). Kylian Mbappé and his teammates will make their debut on June 17 in Düsseldorf against Austria, before meeting the Netherlands in Leipzig on June 21.
