After Paulo Dybala injured, AS Roma lost Romelu Lukaku, excluded during the draw against Fiorentina (1-1), Sunday in Serie A.

Everything started well for AS Roma on Sunday evening, when Fiorentina came. José Mourinho’s men opened the scoring from the start thanks to Romelu Lukaku on a brilliant cross from the outside of the left foot from Paulo Dybala (5th). This turned sour afterwards. The Giallorossi lost their two star attackers to finally share the points with the Viola (1-1).

Dybala was injured midway through the first period (25th). Fiorentina thus took control of the start to equalize on the hour mark: Nicola Zalewski received a second warning (64th) and Lucas Martinez Quarta, with a header, reset the counters to zero (66th). The Romans suffered at the end of the match, especially since Lukaku saw red for a sliding tackle on the left ankle of Christian Kouamé (87th).

Roma misses the mark and remains fourth in the standings, with four points less than AC Milan, and will therefore have to do without its two offensive cracks next week (against Bologna). Maxime Lopez’s Fiorentina (entered second) has only one point less than the Romans.
