Luis Suarez admits discussing his future with Lionel Messi and admits Inter Miami is “one of the possibilities” on the table.

The Uruguayan veteran finds himself on the free agent list after cutting ties with Brazilian club Gremio.

He remained very prolific in South America, but he has long suffered from knee problems that will end his career in the near future. A new challenge in America, alongside his former Barcelona teammate Messi, is still under consideration.

Suarez also responded to the media Teledoce when asked if he would join Messi in the United States: “There is a lot to say, a lot of teams have been named and we have to live with that. I’m going to talk to my lawyer to see what the options are. I didn’t want to know anything before the end of the Brasileirao. Inter Miami could be a possibility. I have the best player in the world and a great friend with whom we have always talked about the future, but I still need to rest before making a decision. »

The 36-year-old former Liverpool and Ajax player was also asked about the possibility of leaving for MLS after a year at Gremio, which he no longer had anything to prove: “Having drawn conclusions from an incredible 12 months, it’s time to relax a little. What I want now is to spend time with my children, my wife. We have had a very busy year. They deserve, and I also need, to be with them. There was a lot of traveling and commitments. I will analyze the possibilities. »
