This is sad news that La Liga has just announced this Saturday afternoon. Indeed, a supporter suffered a stroke at the Nuevo Los Carmenes stadium during the match between Granada and Athletic Club after just 18 minutes. Less than an hour later, the match was definitively stopped, before the highest authority of Spanish football announced his death.
“The meeting between Granada and Athletic Club was stopped due to the death of a supporter at the Nuevo los Cármenes stadium. We extend our condolences to his family and friends, as well as to all Granada CF supporters. The date and time of the resumption of the match will be announced soon.we can read in the press release from the Iberian League.
