Singled out for his disappointing performances, Rayan Cherki was attacked by part of the audience at Groupama Stadium during OL’s victory against Toulouse on Sunday (3-0).

Despite OL’s resounding awakening during the visit of Toulouse (3-0) to Groupama Stadium, Sunday as part of the 15th day of Ligue 1, Rayan Cherki was not involved in Alexandre Lacazette’s hat-trick . The prodigy from the Les Gones training center was the target of whistles from some of the Lyon supporters when the teams were announced as well as during his replacement, when the score was already 2-0.

Cherki is not having a good season, it goes without saying. Installed in the starting lineup since last season, the ambidextrous dribbler lacks lucidity and game intelligence on the pitch, exasperating certain Lyon followers and many championship observers (“ Cherki, it’s not even half of Ben Arfa’s brain, that’s how far it goes. It’s CP level », decried Daniel Riolo on RMC).

The international hopeful, although excellent with the Bleuets, has yet to score in 15 games this season and has only given one assist. Cherki was unable to save the Lyonnais during the nightmare start to the season. Despite a second victory in Ligue 1 against Toulouse, the team now led by interim Pierre Sage remains bottom (but three points behind the non-relegation leader).
