Real Madrid are set to splurge next summer in their search for a new star striker.
Kylian Mbappé, whose contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires at the end of the season, is the subject of keen interest from the Merengue, as is Manchester City’s Erling Haaland.
Both players are considered this generation’s Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, and either one would undoubtedly make Real Madrid a better team. With only one of them likely to be signed, debate rages over which player Florentino Perez and his teammates should sign.
“Real needs Haaland more”
Alfonso Perez, who played for Real Madrid from 1991 to 1995, told Diario AS that he thinks Haaland would be a better fit for Los Blancos, even though he claims Mbappé is the best player in the world at the moment.
