PSG-Nantes: the bitter reaction of Jean-Charles Castelletto

By: Manu Tournoux

There was room for Nantes. This is the general feeling offered by the duel between PSG and the Canaries this Saturday evening, on the occasion of the 15th day of Ligue 1. Ultimately, PSG was able to take advantage of its strengths, in particular thanks to to the incoming Randal Kolo Muani, scorer against his former club to offer victory to the reigning French champions (2-1). Interviewed at the microphone of Canal+ after the match, Jean-Charles Castelleto expressed his disappointment, believing that his team could hope for a better result.

“We deserved better than this defeat. With the qualities they have, it was going to be fought until the end and they were not going to give up. We have the opportunities though. If the difference is technical quality? They put the chances at the bottom. It’s football. I’m proud of what we showed, we weren’t afraid, we went after them, we developed our game. It was a great match. With Gourvennec, things are simple and clear, we try to be united, to make up for teammates’ mistakes. We must continue. Afterwards I can say that now, but we will see in 3 matches. »
