Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri does not intend to sit idly by after the verdict against Paul Pogba.
For having used a banned product, Paul Pogba faces a heavy suspension. The prosecutor in charge of the case requested a four-year suspension. If this sanction is retained, La Pioche risks no longer playing at the highest level.
Allegri moves on
At Juventus, we do not intend to wait for the final sentence before starting to look for a replacement for the Frenchman. According to several consistent sources, management has already started looking for a new quality midfielder.
During his last outing to the media, Bianconero coach Massimiliano was questioned about his intentions. He did not confirm the rumors, but did not rule anything out either. “The most important thing is that the team manages to score as many points as possible until January 7, and then we will see how it goes,” he confided.
January 7 coincides with the last match of the first leg of the championship. The winter transfer window will then be in full swing and the Old Lady will be able to make adjustments to her squad if she wishes.
For the moment, without Pogba or Fagioli, the Turin team is doing rather well. Allegri even says he is very satisfied: “Every year is different from the others. Compared to last year, it’s a slightly slower, abnormal championship: the first 8 scored 17 points less than the 12 second. There is no need to explain but only to work, with a lot of balance.”
