Bayern Munich oversees great Italian hope

In order not to repeat past errors, like the aborted transfer of Joao Palhinha in the final seconds of the summer transfer window, Bayern Munich is moving forward, less than a month before the opening of the transfer market. Thus, the reigning German champion has already completed the arrival of Bryan Zaragoza from Granada to bring competition in attack. But that’s not all because now the Bavarian management is working behind the scenes to strengthen its defensive sector, weakened by an escalation of injuries in recent months.

It is in this perspective that BILD reports to us that the Munich giant is looking for a central defender at all costs this winter and would have ticked off the name of a great hope in Italian football, Giorgio Scalvini. Trained at Atalanta, the young 19-year-old defender found a place in the Bergamo eleven (17 matches including 15 starts in all competitions). However, Bayern Munich will have to break the bank to afford the Transalpine, linked to the Italian team until 2027 and whose market value is estimated around 40 million euros. For Thomas Tuchel’s gang, it will not be an easy task because the Serie A resident is not a salesman!
