Against all expectations, Bayern Munich was crushed this Saturday in the Bundesliga. The Bavarians collapsed in Frankfurt (1-5).
Bayern Munich are no longer undefeated in the Bundesliga. Undefeated in its first 13 outings, the Bavarian club suffered a heavy defeat this Saturday. Tuchel’s team was scattered like a puzzle by Eintracht Frankfurt (1-5), even conceding one of its heaviest defeats in the history of this championship.
A former PSG executioner of Bayern
The German champions quickly understood that this Saturday was going to be very complicated for them. After 12 minutes of play, they were surprised by a recovery from the Egyptian Marmoush. Obviously, they were not at the end of their troubles. And among their executioners of the day there were notably two former Ligue 1 members.
1975 – Eintracht Frankfurt scored five goals in the first 60 minutes of play against FC Bayern, the last team to do so against Bayern in a Bundesliga match were Eintracht themselves in a 6-0 win in 1975 (5-0 after 45 minutes). Update. #SGEFCB @eintracht_eng https://t.co/uPX9wJKNbV

Eric Dina Ebimbe, the player PSG didn’t want, and ex-Toulouse player Farès Chaibi showed the Bavarian defense all sorts of problems. The first named even scored a double (31e and 50e), while the Algerian international was satisfied with a decisive pass (50e) but by delivering a very high quality service. Ansgar Knauff also added his name to the statistics sheet, closing the mark at 60e minute.
Bayern concede five goals in an hour
Five goals conceded in the space of just an hour of play, that must not have happened very often to Bayern. Technicians were fired for much less than that at the Allianz Arena. The ears of Thomas Tuchel, the coach, will probably ring a lot in the coming days. A fortiori if Bayer were to escape on Sunday at the top of the ranking.
