While PSG hopes for the returns of Warren Zaire-Emery and especially Marquinhos, Borussia Dortmund must also deal with a busy infirmary a few days before the clash.

Five days before the decisive clash for qualification for the round of 16 of the Champions League, PSG is awaiting good news from the infirmary. Since Wednesday, Marquinhos and Warren Zaire-Emery, both of whom returned injured from the last international break, have indeed returned to training. If the two men have not yet taken part in the oppositions which conclude each session, they could be ready for the trip to Dortmund.

The Parisian captain, who suffered a hamstring injury, even hopes to be fit for the trip to Nantes on Saturday for the 15e day of Ligue 1. Warren Zaire-Emery, severely injured in the ankle against Gibraltar, is more uncertain and the staff does not intend to take any risks with his player even though the French champions will play for their European future.

But PSG, which will have to do without Fabian Ruiz, injured in the shoulder, is not the only one to lick its wounds. The same goes for his opponent. The Borussia Dortmund infirmary is indeed full or almost full. Marius Wolf, Marcel Sabitzer, Youssoufa Moukoko and Julian Ryerson have all four been injured in recent days and have joined Felix Nmecha and Sébastien Haller, who have been on the side for longer. And if the club is waiting for the results of the latest exams to communicate, the six players are very uncertain for the match against PSG.
