Hoffenheim were hungry for success this Friday evening. At the opening of the 14th day of the Bundesliga, Pellegrino Matarazzo’s men wanted to return to victory in the championship while their last one dates back to the end of October in the German elite. And it’s mission accomplished who crushed Bochum not without difficulty this Friday at home. However, the debates were very fair between the two teams.

While possession was to the advantage of the visitors, Hoffenheim opened the scoring thanks to an own goal from defender Erhan Masovic (1-0, 32nd). Just before the break, Andrej Kramaric gave his team a break at the best of times (2-0, 43rd). At the end of the match, Ihlas Bebou, who entered the game a few minutes earlier, sealed the success of his team despite the late reduction of the gap by Gonçalo Paciência (3-1, 90+1). With this first victory in 4 matches, Hoffenheim consolidates its sixth place while Bochum gets bogged down in the soft underbelly (12th).
